Mary and I just enjoyed a wonderful and inspiring week at Nazarene Youth Conference “07. What a sight to see over 8000 teenagers from around the USA and Canada in one place, downtown St. Louis. The event went very well and I want to thank all of the volunteers from our district that helped. The worship services were anointed and inspiring. What an experience to hear them sing “I Surrender All” , filling the dome with their testimony. On Thursday evening, General Superintendent J.K. Warrick preached a simple yet powerful message on entire sanctification. The young people responded and filled the front of the stadium as well as the isles, praying prayers of complete surrender. What a sight! It was a week of activities, workshops, seminars and community service. On Saturday afternoon, Mary and I had the privilege of participating in the opening of 2 Habitats for Humanities houses contributed by the Church of the Nazarene. It was so much fun to be able to be a part of the event. This short note doesn’t do justice to the week, but suffice it to say, it was incredible.
